Improving Seaport Wharf Maintenance and Safety with Structural Health Monitoring System in High Salt and Humidity Environments

Due to the harsh working conditions, durability of seaport wharf structure is poor compared with similar hydraulic structures. According structural characteristics coastal port and particularity a high salt humidity environment, stress features are analyzed, health inspection indicators proposed. A fiber grating sensor-based monitoring system for high-pile piers established. corresponding detecting designed according standard section wharf’s front platform. The implementation scheme, sensor selection, performance parameters Finally, realization technology related data acquisition transmission subsystem given. experimental results indicate that waveform response wave load has consistent sine pattern actual load. maximum strain berthing pier appears at 4.35 m 6.14 m, elevations reach 4.66 με 5.31 με, respectively. other positions also an obvious change trend. provide some help research system.
